Some photos of an incredibly fleeting pass-through Fontainebleau in France. Having never heard of the town before, I was surprised to find the forests full of campers and climbers who worship this forest for the amazing natural boulders here. One photograph in particular stood out to me, a climber’s hand grasping a perfect naturally formed handhold in the rock. This photograph was developed by the Photographique lab in Bristol, who printed it in A0 size. I then framed it, and it was mounted on the wall of the Frome Boulder Rooms climbing centre in Somerset.
